Using FeedbackFruits in Canvas

Creating a FeedbackFruits Activity as an Assignment

  1. Create a new assignment in Canvas. 
  2. Under the Submission Type dropdown, choose 'External Tool' and click 'Find'

  1. Choose 'FeedbackFruits' from the 'Configure External Tool' menu and press 'Select'

  1. The FeedbackFruits toolpicker will appear. Within the toolpicker, you will be able to create brand new activities by choosing one of FeedbackFruits tools, copy assignment set ups from past activities, or use personal, shared or institutional templates (including Learning Journeys).   1. After selecting the tool or activity template you wish to use, you will be able to set up and save your FeedbackFruits assignment. After saving, you will get back to the 'Configure External Tool' menu. You need to click 'select' again in order for the tool link to be entered into your Canvas Assignment.

  1. Before you save, be sure to adjust the title, points value, and other details to your needs.
  2. Click on 'Save' or 'Save & Publish' if you'd like the assignment to be available to students immediately.
