UNK offers secure and reliable internet access across campus through several wireless networks. Whether you're a student, faculty member, or guest, here's how to get connected:

eduroam (Primary Network for Students, Faculty, and Staff)

eduroam is UNK’s primary Wi-Fi network, providing secure access on campus and at participating institutions worldwide.

To connect:

Select the eduroam network from your device's Wi-Fi settings.
Enter your campus identity and your campus password.
Accept the security certificate if prompted.

If you're unsure of your campus credentials, visit TrueYou Identity Management to retrieve or reset your information.

NU-IoT (For Smart Devices)

NU-IoT is designed for Internet of Things (IoT) devices like smart TVs, gaming consoles, and streaming devices that don't support eduroam.

To register your device:

Connect to any campus network and open a browser.
Navigate to the IoT Registration Portal.
Log in with your campus credentials.
Register your device by providing its MAC address and a unique name.
Connect your device to the NU-IoT network using the credentials provided.

NU-Guest (For Visitors)

NU-Guest offers temporary internet access for campus visitors.

To connect:

Select the NU-Guest network from your device's Wi-Fi settings.
Complete the registration form with your contact information.
Receive your temporary credentials via email or text.
Log in using the provided username and password.

Wired Connections

For devices requiring a wired connection:

Personal Devices: Connect via Ethernet and follow the prompts to authenticate.
University-Managed Devices: These are pre-configured for wired access.
